Hello world! I'd like to be posting more, but I'm actually doing a lot of nonfiction writing (and trying to figure out my SPN-XMAS story) so it's not all lost.

Believe it or not, all these are related in one way or another to my academic interests. ( technology and culture, champagne, money and intimate relations, history of marketing, digital libraries )

Marvel sues computer game for allowing players to create Marvel-like characters. I enjoyed this article on amateur-to-amateur production, dissemination and promotion of creative works (I'm cited, too, which never hurts), but I had to laugh at the wonderful typo involving "Locke's labor/dessert theory." We should all have a dessert theory, don't you think? Mine involves chocolate.
